Privacy Policy

The short version

TELLY X is local-first: your tasks live on your device and work fully offline. If you create an account, your data is synced to a secure cloud database so it follows you across devices. We use no tracking cookies, no third-party ad networks and no data brokers. We never sell your personal data.

What we store

• Account data (only if you sign up): your name, email address, and a salted SHA-256 hash of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Your content: tasks (title, date, time, notes, completion state) and profile preferences (name, accent colour) that you choose to sync.
• Session tokens: random tokens that keep you signed in; they are deleted when you log out.
• Usage analytics (only with your consent): anonymous, first-party event counts such as “app opened” or “task added”, tied to a random on-device ID. No cookies are used and no cross-site tracking is possible. If you decline, nothing is sent.

What we do NOT collect

• No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, no social-media pixels.
• No precise location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone or camera access.
• No browsing history outside the TELLY X app itself.

Where your data lives

Your synced data is stored in a managed Turso (libSQL) PostgreSQL-compatible database and served through Cloudflare’s edge network. All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Data you keep offline-only never leaves your device.

Your choices & your data

• Use offline only: skip sign-up and everything stays on your device.
• Decline analytics: the consent banner lets you say no; you can also clear it any time from your browser’s site settings.
• Delete content: delete tasks inside the app at any time; deletions sync and are removed from our servers.
• Delete your account: log out and contact us (link below) and we will erase your account, sessions and synced data.

Children

TELLY X is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be announced inside the app.
