Is TELLY X free?
Yes — completely free. No subscriptions, no ads, no locked features. The whole app, including cloud sync, costs nothing.
Does it work offline?
Yes. TELLY X is offline-first: you can add, complete and edit tasks with no connection at all — even in airplane mode. Changes are saved on your device and sync automatically the next time you’re online.
Do I need an account?
Only if you want your tasks to follow you across devices. Without an account the app still works fully on the single device you use it on.
How does sync work?
When you sign in, your tasks and preferences are encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored in a secure cloud database. Every device signed in with your account merges changes automatically, newest-change-wins, so nothing overwrites unexpectedly.
Can I install it like a real app?
Yes. TELLY X is a progressive web app. On Android/Chrome choose Menu → Add to Home Screen; on iPhone/Safari choose Share → Add to Home Screen. It then launches fullscreen with its own icon, works offline, and updates itself automatically.
Which devices are supported?
Any modern browser: Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, macOS and Linux. The layout is mobile-first but adapts to tablets and desktops.
Is my data private?
We store only what the service needs (see the Privacy Policy). There are no tracking cookies and no third-party advertisers. Optional first-party analytics only run if you tap “Allow”.
I forgot my password — what now?
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, so nobody (including us) can read them. Automated reset is on our roadmap; until then, contact the developer on GitHub and we’ll help you recover your account.
How do I delete my data or account?
Delete individual tasks inside the app any time. To erase your whole account and synced data, log out and message the developer on GitHub — deletion is permanent and completes within a few days.
Why do some tasks show a sync badge?
A small badge means a change is waiting to sync (you were offline when you made it). It clears automatically once the device reconnects.
